Michelle has worked in the fitness industry for over 20 years.  She began teaching aerobics when she was 17.  Combining her love of fitness with helping others, she decided to study Exercise Physiology in college.   Today she specializes in  personal training clients in their own homes.  She is also a personal trainer (independent contractor) for The Personal Training Zone gym (no membership required) 4010 S. 2700 E.

Michelle received her Bachelors Degree in Exercise and Sport Science in 1998.  She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA, and also received her Gerontology Certificate from the University of Utah.  Her other specialties and certifications include Yoga, Nutrition,  Exercise Therapy, Senior Fitness and CPR.  Michelle successfully trains clients (men, women, youth and seniors) with a wide variety of goals, including: weight (fat) loss, body sculpting and building, strength/bone building, cardiovascular conditioning, posture mechanics, balance, injury rehabilitation and more.  Her programs are always individually designed. She incorporates  journal keeping, along with a nutritional program, and goal setting to help her clients be successful in reaching their goals.  Unlike many trainers, who suggest you buy multiple session packages, Michelle is happy to train individuals only a few times if that is all they require to get them started on their personal journey to fitness and health.  References available.  To contact Michelle please call (801) 979-1699.  "I would like to talk in person, but if you'd rather e-mail, please use mmfurse@icloud.com
